On March 29th 2014, the CCR2P hosted its annual conference, entitled “From the Rwandan Genocide to the Responsibility to Protect: A Journey of Lessons Learned.” This full-day conference was part of the Rwanda20 campaign to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Rwandan Genocide, which the CCR2P co-hosted with the Bill Graham Centre for Contemporary International History and the International Relations Program at the Trinity College, University of Toronto. Dr.Jennifer Welsh, the UN Secretary-General’s Representative on R2P, delivered the keynote address.
