R2P Scholars Network

One of the key mandates of the Canadian Centre for R2P is to create a national and global network of R2P scholars, comprised of Junior Fellows and Senior Fellows, and foster inter-disciplinary intellectual engagement with R2P. We believe that creating a strong knowledge base for R2P is essential for an effective implementation of R2P principle in real-life scenarios.

Through our Senior Fellowship program, we hope to connect scholars and practitioners with extensive experience in human rights field and encourage mutually beneficial networking. Our Junior Fellowship, comprised of graduate students and emerging practitioners from around the world, reflect such a vibrant network of young scholars in the field of R2P studies. Our Fellows are based in all parts of the world and continue to play a prominent role in advocating R2P through their critical engagement and scholarly contributions.

The R2P Scholars Network was first launched at CCR2P’s annual conference in March 2014 and it continues to expand rapidly across the globe. We will be announcing our 2014-2015 Fellows in late September, so please stay tuned for more updates!

>> Please email Mr. Misha Boutilier at <r2pscholars@ccr2p.org> if you are interested in joining the Network or wish to nominate any scholar/practitioner to this program. We thank you in advance for your interest and support for this initiative!
