R2P Dispatch: Call for Submissions
In commemoration of the 15th anniversary since the birth of the Responsibility to Protect principle in 2001, the Canadian Centre for R2P will be launching a journal in the autumn of 2016 called the "R2P Dispatch." Any undergraduate, graduate students, and other scholars and researchers are welcome to submit a written piece (no more than 5,000 words in length) for consideration in our inaugural journal. We are specifically interested in pieces that deal with normative development of R2P, R2P and international law, and R2P& Canadian foreign policy. However, any other entries with meaningful engagement on R2P scholarship will also be considered. Please use Chicago style of citation for footnotes and send your submission to "" by June 28, 2016. The authors of the three best submissions will be invited to present the findings at our annual conference.
Authors should make sure that they follow the guidelines outlined below:
1. Submit paper in (.doc) form, NOT in (.pdf) form
2. Use Canadian English
3. Use Times New Roman, 12-point font, double-spaced
4. Do NOT identify yourself anywhere on the manuscript
5. Make sure to include a 150-word abstract
6. Authors are encouraged to use headings and sub-headings
7. Use extra line between paragraphs, instead of indenting them
